The Fleetwood House
around 1910. Build at the corner of Franklin
and Main Streets, it was one of the oldest landmarks in the area.
It was erected in 1776, made of stone and painted yellow, than
green and finally blue. It was first known as the Yellow Hotel,
than
the Green Hotel, than the Blue Hotel. It was razed in 1913 and
replaced with the Hotel Fleetwood, owned by Charles Kutz. |
