SUMMARY: Ebenezer Maule was born on May 1, 1792 in Tredyffrin Twp., Chester County. He married Sarah Lee in Exeter, (Berks County) PA on June 3, 1819. He died at the age of 79 in 1871. His wife, Sarah Lee was the daughter of Mary Boone and Isaac Lee. It is here where the Lincolon and Boone families cross. The parents of Mary Boone were Sarah Lincoln and William Boone. President Abraham Lincoln would be the fourth cousin, twice removed to the second generation Hamilton's. He would be a fourth cousein, three times removed for the third generation of Hamiltons.
Ebenezer grew up in Frankford, Philadelphia County, PA to
which his mother had moved following his fathers death in 1793 of Yellow Fever. In 1825 he
moved to Highland Township in Chester County, where he bought a farm. He was a farmer and
scythesmith. On June 3, 1819 in Exeter, (Berks County) PA Ebenezer married Sarah Lee, the
daughter of Isaac and Mary (Boone) Lee.
Sarah was from Oley, PA (Berks County). Though her mother, Marry Boone Lee, Sarah was
related to the Daniel Boone and Abraham Lincoln families. She and Ebenezer had nine
children, among them was Benjamin Maule (1827-1904)
