16th Century (The Beginning)

1570: Isaac Pennock  born. He is the grandfather of Christopher Pennock. Isaac has at least one son, John Pennock. The birth date of John is not known but we do know he had at least one son, Christopher Pennock. John Pennock died in 1715. So the linage in Ireland starts with Isaac Pennock, than John Pennock and finally Christopher Pennock.

17th Century

1610: Thomas Maule born in England circa 1610. Date not known but it is very close to this date.

1645: Thomas Maule II born in England.

1649: Christopher Pennock born in Ireland. He is the son of John Pennock.

1651: Mary Collett, second wife of Christopher Pennock,  born in Clonmell, Tipperary, Ireland.

1658: Thomas Maule II leaves England and arrives in Barbados.

1672: Christopher Pennock marries Marry Collett in June in Clonmell, Tipperary, Ireland.

1677: Joseph Pennock was born on November 18th in Killhouse, Clonmell, Tipperary, Ireland. was born on November 18th in Killhouse, Clonmell, Tipperary, Ireland.

1678: Thomas Maule II arrives in Salem, MA from Boston, MA.

1681: Christopher Pennock immigrates from Ireland and arrives in Philadelphia.

1685: Mary Levis, wife of Joseph Pennock, born on September 8th in Harby, Leicestershire, England.

1696: Trial of Thomas Maule II concerning his pamphlet about the "witch trials" in Salem. He was acquitted.

18th Century

1702: Joseph Pennock immigrates to America and settles on his fathers (Christopher Pennock) estate.

1705: Joseph Pennock marries Mary Levis and engaged in a mercantile business in Philadelphia.

1707: Christopher Pennock dies in Philadelphia.

1707: William Pennock1707 ____ William Pennock, son of Joseph Pennock and Mary Levis Pennock is born on May 11th .

1714: Joseph Pennock moves to West Marlborough, Chester, PA and settled on a large tract of land.

1715: John Pennock, the father of Christopher Pennock and son of Isaac Pennock dies.

1720: Thomas Maule III born in Salem, MA. He would live only 45 years and marry twice.

1720: Alice Mendenhall, wife of William Pennock born on April 16th.

1724: Thomas Maule II dies in Salem, MA at the age of 81. He had fathered 11 children with two different wives.

1730: Faggs Manor Presbyterian Church founded in 1730.

1734: Daniel Boone was born in Berks County, Pennsylvania.

1738: Joseph Pennock builds Primitive Hall.

1744: Thomas Maule III arrives in Philadelphia as an apprenticed carpenter.

1752: Caleb Pennock, the son of William Pennock and Alice Mendenhall, was born on September 28th.

1753: Thomas Maule III marries his second wife, Zillah Walker. His first wife Susanna Hogg died the year before.

1754: Ann Thompson, the wife of Caleb Pennock, born on December 13th.

1756: Thomas Maule III and his wife Zillah Walker move from Philadelphia to a 140 acre farm in Chester County.

1757: John Maule born on October 24th, one of seven children born to Thomas Maule and Zillah Walker.

1765: Thomas Maule III dies at the age of 45.

1789: Caleb Pennock Jr  born on Dec. 1st to Caleb Pennock and Alice Mendenhall. Father of Lydia Pennock.

1792: Ebenezer Maule is born, one of six children born to John Maule and Susanna Metcalf.

1797: Mary Dingee, wife of Caleb Pennock Jr. born on November 27th. She was the mother of Lydia Pennock.

19th Century

1809: Abraham Lincoln born on February 12th.

1817: Ezekiel Hamilton born in Ireland. He is the son of James Hamilton and Margaret Scott of Ireland.

1820: Daniel Boone dies in Missouri.

1825: Lydia Atkinson Pennock born. She would marry Ezekiel Hamilton and have seven children.

1827: Benjamin Maule born on April 18th, one of nine children of children of Ebenezer Maule and Sarah Lee.

1827: Elizabeth Thompson, future wife of Benjamin Maule, born on April 20th.

1847: Mary Hamilton, the first child of Ezekiel Hamilton and Lydia Pennock born. She would marry Wilson Dorey.

1849: Benjamin Maule marries Elizabeth Jane Thompson.

1850: Caleb Hamilton, the second child of Ezekiel Hamilton born. He would die the following year.

1851: Caleb Hamilton, infant second child of Ezekiel Hamilton, dies in infancy.

1851: Charles Hamilton, third child of Ezekiel Hamilton born. He married Florence Nightingale in 1888.

1854: Elizabeth Hamilton, the fourth  child of Ezekiel Hamilton  is  born. She would never marry.

1856: James Hamilton, the fifth child of Ezekiel Hamilton is  born. He married Anna Satterthwaite in 1890.

1862: Idella Dora Maule born on July 19th, one of six children born to Benjamin Maule and Elizabeth Thompson.

1862: Pennock Fred Hamilton born on Dec. 15th, one of seven children of Ezekiel Hamilton and Lydia Pennock.

1865: Abraham Lincoln assassinated in Washington, DC.

1865: Marry Hamilton married Wilson Dorey on September 21st.

1867: Willis Hamilton, the seventh child of Ezekiel Hamilton  born. He married Clara Neff in 1890.

1886: Gary Fisher born on March 9th, probably in Philadelphia. He will marry Betsy Hamilton in 1911.

1887: Pennock Fred Hamilton and Idella Dora Maule married on March 3rd.

1888: Ralph Brown, the first husband of Eva Hamilton, born on April 4th.

1888: Nina Hamilton born on April 30th. She is the first child of Pennock Fred Hamilton and Idella Maule.

1888: Charles Hamilton married Florence Nightingale on January 5th.

1888: Ezekiel Hamilton dies on May 31st. He is buried at West Grove Friends Meeting.

1889: Ralph Hamilton born on Sept. 21st. He is the second child of Pennock Fred Hamilton and Idella Maule.

1890: James Hamilton married Anna Satterthwaite on March 13th.

1890: Ralph Hamilton dies at Sunnyside Farm on April 2nd in accident. He is buried at Doe Run.

1890: Willis Hamilton married Clara Neff on May 8th.

1890: Betsy Hamilton born on December 11th. She is the third child of Idella Maule and Pennock Hamilton.

1892: Benjamin Hamilton born on May 18th. He is the fourth child of Pennock F. Hamilton and Idella Maule.

1894: Herb Pennock, legendary and Hall of Fame baseball pitcher is born on February 10th.

1894: Eva Hamilton born on October 15th. She is the fifth child of Pennock F. Hamilton and Idella Maule.

1896: Pauline Brown born on May 9th in Oxford, PA

1897: Elizabeth Thompson Maule, wife of Benjamin Maule, dies on August 22nd. Buried at Doe Run Friends Meeting.

1897: Earl Hamilton born on November 18th. He is the sixth child of Pennock F. Hamilton and Idella Maule.

1897: Elizabeth Hamilton, never married and the second child of Ezekiel Hamilton and Lydia Pennock Hamilton, dies.

20th Century

1900: Fred Hamilton born on November 15th. He is the seventh child of Pennock Hamilton and Idella Maule.

1901: Lydia Pennock Hamilton, mother of Pennock Fred Hamilton, dies. Buried at West Grove Friends Meeting.

1901: Ruth Deitweiler, future wife of Earl Hamilton, born on July 25th in Danboro, PA.

1902: Paul Shivery, future husband of Idella Hamilton, born in Upper Oxford Township on February 9th.

1903: Harry Dore’ Hamilton, eighth child of Pennock and Idella Maule, born on March 12th.

1903: Willis Hamilton, the fifth child of Ezekiel Hamilton and Lydia Pennock Hamilton, dies at the age of  36.

1904: Benjamin Maule, father of Idella Maule Hamilton, dies on July 27th. Buried at Doe Run.

1906: James Hamilton, the third child of Ezekiel Hamilton and Lydia Pennock Hamilton, dies.

1907: Idella Hamilton, ninth and last child of Pennock and Idella Maule, born on July 2nd.

1909: Evelyn Keim, future wife of Fred Hamilton, born near Hamburg, PA on December 29.

1911: Nina Hamilton and Harry Herbott II married on February 2nd  in a double ceremony with sister Betsy.

1911: Betsy Hamilton and Gary Fisher married on February 2nd in a double ceremony with sister Nina.

1911: Kathryn Keim, future wife of Harry Hamilton, born in a log home in Windsor Castle, PA.

1911: Helen Fisher, the only child of Gary and Betsy Hamilton Fisher, born on November 12th.

1911: Harry "Bud" Herbott, the only child born to Harry and Nina Hamilton Herbott, born on December 11th.

1913: Nina Clarice Brown, the only child of Ralph Brown and Eva Hamilton, is born on January 13th.

1917: Mary Hamilton, the first child of Ezekiel Hamilton and Lydia Pennock Hamilton dies.

1918: Ben Hamilton Jr. born on December 5th. He is the first of 2 children of Ben and Pauline Brown Hamilton.

1921: Elizabeth Hamilton, daughter of Ben and Pauline Brown Hamilton, born on May 24th.

1923: Earl Hamilton graduates from Penn Dental School. He will have a dental office in Allentown for over 50 years.

1923: Earl Hamilton marries Ruth Deitweiler on October 17th in Philadelphia. They will have four daughters.

1925: Kathleen Clarice Hamilton, first daughter of Earl and Ruth Deitweiler Hamilton, born on March 27th.

1926: Harry Hamilton graduates from Temple Dental School. He will have a dental office in Fleetwood for 60 years.

1928: Electric lights are installed at Faggs Manor Church for the first time.

1928: Virginia Ruth Hamilton, second daughter of Earl and Ruth Deitweiler Hamilton, born on July 9th.

1928: Harry Hamilton and Kathryn Keim married in Reading, PA on November 28th in Reading, PA.

1929: Robert Harry Hamilton, first son of Harry and Kathryn Keim Hamilton, born on October 19th.

1930: Charles, the sixth and last child of Ezekiel Hamilton and Lydia Pennock Hamilton dies circa 1930-1935.

1931 ____ Fred Hamilton and Evelyn Keim married in Reading, PA on January 14th.

1932 ____ Ronald Joseph Hamilton, second son of Harry and Kathryn Keim Hamilton, born on April 13th.

1932 ____ Ralph Brown, husband of Eva Hamilton, dies at age 44 on December 8. He was buried at Faggs Manor.

1933 ____ Pennock Fred Hamilton dies in November in Philadelphia, PA. He is buried at Faggs Manor.

1933 ____ Edward Allen Hamilton, first child of Fred and Evelyn Keim Hamilton, born on Christmas Day.

1934 ____ Roger Warren Hamilton, third son of Harry and Kathryn Keim Hamilton, born on August 20th.

1934 ____ Eva Hamilton married her second husband, Norman Holloway, on November 5th.

1936 ____ Phyllis Shivery, first of two daughters of Paul and Idella Hamilton Shivery, born on June 3rd.

1936 ____ Lenore A. Hamilton, third daughter of Earl and Ruth Deitweiler Hamilton, born in Allentown on July 15th.

1936 ____ Twins Marilyn and David Hamilton, children of Fred and Evelyn Keim Hamilton, born on July 25th.

1937 ____ Norman Dennis Holloway, son of Norman Holloway and Eva Hamilton Holloway, born on April 6th.

1937 ____ Doris Jean Shivery, second of two daughter of Paul and Idella Hamilton Shivery, born on December 27th.

1938 ____ Joan C. Hamilton, fourth daughter of Earl and Ruth Deitweiler Hamilton, born in Allentown on June 12th.

1938 ____ Richard Carl Hamilton, fourth and final son of Harry and Kathryn Keim Hamilton, born on June 30th.

1942 ____ Evelyn Hope Hamilton, daughter of Fred and Evelyn Keim Hamilton, born on September 4th.

1942 ____ Idella Dora Maule Hamilton dies September 18th in Philadelphia PA. Buried at Faggs Manor.

1945 ____ Carol Virginia Hamilton, the fifth and final child of Fred and Evelyn Keim Hamilton, born on April 6th.

1948 ____ Herb Pennock dies in New York city on January 30th. He is buried in Kennett Square, PA

1955 ____ Gary Fisher, husband of Betsy Hamilton Fisher, dies on August 25th at age 69 in Philadelphia, PA.

1956 ____ Harry Herbott II, husband of Nina Hamilton Herbott, dies in Philadelphia on October 23rd.

1960 ____ Primitive Hall was transferred to the Primitive Hall Foundation.

1965 ____ Fred Hamilton retires and sells Sunnyside Farm to King family. Farm auction was in February.

1965 ____ Betsy Hamilton Fisher dies at age 75 on August 8th. Brothers Harry and Fred were in Alaska at the time.

1969 ____ David Richard Hamilton, 13 year old son of Ronald Hamilton and Joan Hesford Hamilton, dies in Philadelphia.

1971 ____ Paul Shivery, husband of Idella Hamilton Shivery, dies in Unionville, PA on April 3rd at age 69.

1973 ____ Harry Conroy, wife of Helen Fisher Conroy, dies on November 3 at age 69.

1973 ____ Nina Hamilton Herbott dies at age 84 on February 14th.

1974 ____ Benjamin Hamilton dies in West Grove at age 82 on July 10th. His wife Pauline would live 12 more years.

1976 ____ Norman Holloway, husband of Eva Hamilton Holloway, dies on September 23, 1976 at age 70.

1977 ____ Evelyn Keim Hamilton, wife of Fred Hamilton, dies in Philadelphia at age 67 on July 25.

1977 ____ Eva Hamilton Holloway, wife of Norman Holloway, dies in Philadelphia on November 4th, at age 82.

1980 ____ Faggs Manor Presbyterian Church celebrates its 250th year since its founding back in 1730.

1982 ____ Fred Hamilton, husband of Evelyn Keim Hamilton, dies in Cochranville, PA at age 81 on September 24th.

1982 ____ Harry Herbott IV, son of Harry Herbott III and Irene "Renee" Hibbs Herbott, dies at age 45 in February.

1985 ____ Earl Hamilton, husband of Ruth Deitweiler Hamilton, dies in Philadelphia at age 86 on September 6th.

1986 ____ Pauline Brown Hamilton, wife of Ben Hamilton, dies at age 89 on March 13th.

1993 ____ Ethyl Joan Hesford, wife of Ronald Joseph Hamilton, dies in Texas at age 61.

1995 ____ Harry Hamilton, husband of Kathryn Keim Hamilton, dies in Reading, PA at age 92 on April 24th.

1999 ____ Ruth Deitweiler Hamilton, wife of Earl Ezekiel Hamilton died on January 18th. Ruth was 97 years old.
