| SUMMARY: | He was the third child of Ezekiel and Lydia Pennock Hamilton. Charles Hamilton was a very prominent shoe manufacturer. He was a "Dollar-a-Year" man for the federal government in WW1. He lived in St. Louis and manufactured "Buster Brown" shoes. I can remember my father relating stories about him on some of his return visits to Chester County. He died in about 1930.
